Project developers face many challenges, including tariffs, rising interest rates, FEOC rules, etc. Most can be mitigated by spending more money or increasing the PPA price, but there are two binary risks that no amount of money can solve: interconnection and permitting. Community engagement is the key to mitigating the permitting risk.
