Jake Edie is deeply knowledgeable about renewable energy and marketing, and has worked effectively in the energy storage, EPC, and supply chain management sectors, including as an energy storage solution architect, business development director, and head of marketing and inside sales. He teaches for University of Illinois Chicago on clean energy and the grid.
Peter Kelley has designed and executed strategic campaigns for cleantech companies and leading energy and environmental non-profits for over 30 years. He overhauled and ran communications for the American Wind Energy Association, staffed the Kyoto climate treaty talks for National Environmental Trust, and started his career as an award-winning investigative newspaper reporter.
Allison Lenthall is a skilled publicist, corporate liaison, and project manager for both companies and nonprofits. She has top-level communications experience in solar power, hospital administration, and plant-based nutrition, with a specialty in community engagement. She led Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility for Abengoa Solar in Seville, Spain.
Lauren Wolahan is a communications specialist with issue expertise on clean energy and climate science. She is experienced in designing and managing communications efforts to help organizations gain media traction while navigating politics.
Alexis Phillips is a technical writer with real, first-hand experience who has lived and breathed renewables her entire career. With a Masters in Renewable Energy Engineering, she has over eight years of practical and academic experience in the renewable energy industry, and a history of project management for clean tech and solar microgrid startups.
Shawna has represented a multitude of sectors, including clean energy, sustainable technologies, biotech, agribusiness, associations, and media companies. Her work in highly regulated industries includes developing and implementing hyperlocal PR events, and educating lawmakers and regulators to achieve legislative goals.
Carolyn Clendenin is a savvy, creative, and mission-driven communications consultant with a passion for telling stories that drive impact. For the past decade, her work has centered around a core question: How do you tell your story in a way that compels people to listen?
Stefanie Brown is a seasoned event specialist and project manager with over 25 years of experience in the clean energy, energy efficiency, and association sectors. Known for her reliability and exceptional problem-solving skills, Stefanie excels at managing both small and large details on behalf of her clients.
Jim Kelley works with clients and stakeholders to create relevant, insightful, and analytical content for leading publications and social media. He has worked on Capitol Hill, for start-ups, for Amazon’s AI program, and managing a retail store.
Julia Durmer worked in strategy and engagement at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Solar Energy Technologies Office for over three years. She specializes in placing clients in the news media and coordinating their social media and email campaigns.
Elza Vucane has experience in communications, managing partnerships, and growing businesses. She has worked at the Latvian Embassy in Washington, D.C., the San Diego World Affairs Council, and in the tech industry. She completed the Terra.do climate fellowship in 2024.
Known for wearing many hats and thriving in any environment, Gina has a talent for crafting processes and procedures to streamline success. She started her career with over 15 years in international media sales, where she honed her skills in relationship-building and management and averaged over $3 million in annual sales.
Hope Brown, MSA, is founder and owner of Brown Business Solutions LLC, and a certified bookkeeper, licensed tax preparer, project manager, and business consultant who is on a mission to help entrepreneurs and small businesses become productive and succeed.
