Lauren Wolahan
Lauren has nearly a decade of experience in advancing clean energy issues as a communications specialist and experienced project manager.
She was previously Director of Communications at the Climate Imperative Foundation, where she built an internal communications framework and led communications projects in support of grant-making. She served as the U.S. lead for the Global Strategic Communications Council, overseeing communications and media efforts on the global implications of U.S. federal policy.
She worked for over three years at Climate Nexus, a non-profit PR and strategic communications agency for climate issues, finishing as Senior Manager of the Special Projects team, handling international policy, public health, subnational action, and agricultural issues.
Lauren holds a Bachelor’s from Boston College and a Master of Public Health in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs, specializing in sustainability and agriculture.
She lives in Boulder, Colorado, and enjoys skiing, live music, and hiking.
